My passion is my work and my mission is to touch (often, literally) as many people as possible through various healing modalities, including bodywork and the Regenetics Method, the goal being to activate others' self-healing capacities in order to facilitate higher states of joy, health and relationships for all.

A focus of my bodywork is the use of acupressure in helping provide pregnant women a nurturing, safe and less painful space in which to give birth consciously and naturally and young bodies/souls a happier and easier transition into the world.

My introduction to healing came from my martial arts teacher, who gently taught me that the principles of energy management essential to martial arts could also be utilised in healing by helping people tap into their own healing resources. My early training was as a social worker, but I soon found myself bogged down in that limited world.

Over time I added yoga, shiatsu and other body-oriented therapies to my background in martial arts and eventually became a bodyworker. However, I came to realise that working solely with the body had its own limitations, as this tended to release many emotions in clients without necessarily resolving the underlying issues. In order to encourage more permanent healing on all levels, I trained as a Gestalt-Hakomi therapist and, most recently, in the Regenetics Method of DNA activation.

My personal experience of the first phase of Regenetics, Potentiation, was powerful, initiating a great deal of emotional as well physical (pain) release, especially in my head–which as a massage therapist, I found most interesting! As a child I had a lot of head injuries and also contracted meningitis at two and a half.

Throughout my adult life, in therapy and elsewhere, I'd attempted to get to the core of the abandonment issues around my traumatic experience of meningitis (when I was quarantined away from my parents for days), but on some level I knew my cells were “hanging on” to the memory.

The very day of the Potentiation process when I entered the seventh electromagnetic field, which in my Electromagnetic Group (energy family) regulates the musculoskeletal system as well as many emotions associated with abandonment, I was massaging a client. Halfway through I started sobbing and couldn't stop. I felt exactly the same sensation I felt during my meningitis episode: that of being catapulted into space, disconnected from everybody and everything, floating in a dark tunnel.

Until Potentiation it wasn't possible to feel, at a body level, the full emotional impact of this experience. But now I was feeling it. Somehow I finished the massage and called two friends to be with me as I underwent the most extraordinary release over twenty-four hours during which I felt my cells were literally being cleansed biochemically of the hormonal residue of my childhood trauma. Within two days my lifelong fear of abandonment was merely a memory.
